Help you organize sound files via an explorer-like interface. SoundBunny is a light and handy software program that handles tons of audio files and enables you to organize, play, convert, merge and split them easily and quickly. The program installs a desktop icon without asking but uninstalls cleanly. We liked that the program combines an audio player with a burner, ripper, converter, and recorder we've seen many programs that do these things, but few do all of them.Įufony is free to try, but the trial version rips and converts only the first minute of each track. Overall the program worked fine, and we found it easy to use once we got familiar with its features. The program did successfully rip tracks from CDs and convert between a variety of audio formats. The program also seems unable to record audio from a built-in microphone, and the Help file offers instructions only for converting audio cassettes to MP3s using an external device. We had to consult the online Help file to figure out how to add tracks to the CD burner, for example (answer: right-click on the tracks when they're in the file browser and select "Add to CD Burner"). It's fairly easy to figure out, although not all of its features are as intuitive as they should be. Just launch ShadowSweeper to disable shadows, and launch again to bring them back. The program's interface is plain and utilitarian, with a tree-style directory that allows users to easily access audio files stored anywhere on their computers. ShadowSweeper turns shadows for windows and menus off or on, bringing a simple, clean, flat look to your screen. ![]() It's not the most attractive program we've ever seen, but it works well enough and offers features that aren't always found together. Eufony is a multifeatured media player that allows users to play, record, and convert audio files.
